We’re currently looking for Mental Health & Substance Use Health
Peer Support Workers to join our team. In this role, you’ll provide
non-clinical one-on-one and group support to individuals accessing mental health and substance use services, primarily in an Ottawa-area hospital setting with occasional group facilitation and community meetings.
This position requires someone who has first-hand experience accessing in-patient and emergency room hospital-based mental health and substance use services and who is skilled at listening deeply, holding space, and supporting others through shared experience as well as comfortable sharing their experience in meaningful and supportive ways.
