HART Hub Peer Support Worker
We’re currently looking for two bilingual (EN/FR) Peer Support Workers to join our team. In this role, you’ll provide non-clinical one-on-one and group support to individuals accessing substance use and housing services in-person, on site at the West Ottawa Homeless and Addiction Recovery Team (HART) Hub in Bells Corner with occasional shifts at PSO main office at The Bronson Centre.
You will be part of a multidisciplinary team formed of many different partner organizations to create and uphold a stigma-free, relationship-focused, compassionate, and collaborative environment for people seeking to access healthcare for their substance use and housing needs. The WOHH will have a combination of access points for service users in which peer support may be involved, including front door walk-ins, people returning for appointments, and ambulance diversion.
