Would you like to be the first to know what's happening in the mental health community in Ottawa and the region?

We offer monthly Family Support Newsletter that includes community resources, workshops, events, information about what's going on at PSO and other agencies, wellness tips and strategies and much more …

Has someone close to you been diagnosed with a mental illness? Are you the supporter? Do you wonder how to help this person? Is your concern and care for others leaving you with little time or energy to care for yourself?

Family WRAP is a practical self-help recovery education series focused on: gaining control in your own life through self-care and understanding of self-care for the loved one; gaining a sense of control in the family as a unit and family self-care, understanding recovery concepts and sharing resources tools and strategies. Cost: free.

As Family Peer Support Workers, we do not have a clinical education nor are we part of the medical system. We are simply parents/partners/children/siblings of people with mental health issues and we offer lived experience, compassion and understanding to other families.

We work in cooperation with some Ottawa hospitals and we also offer community support.

We do not make decisions about patient care or discuss treatment options.

We are looking forward to hearing from you.
