Peer Support Programs

Peer support encourages us to help ourselves. PSO offers many free unique programs, ongoing groups/activities and workshops throughout a week that people recovering from mental health challenges might wish to consider. We also offer a comfortable and homey Lounge and Resource Centre to enjoy the company of friends over a cup of tea or coffee. 

Peer Support Groups


The groups can have a specific topic for discussion or can be an open group where members can talk about what concerns them. While all groups have a facilitator they are generally self managed. Everyone is welcome - no referral required! [more ...]

Wellness Recovery Workshops

PSO offers several free workshops designed for mental health consumer/survivors as well as their families. They take a practical, self-help approach to wellness and recovery and are facilitated by peers and family peers. We offer workshops in French and English [more ...]


The Guild


A recreational drop-in for young people aged 16 to 30, with music, games, movies, casual conversations, and group activities. Meet people your age, or bring a friend! This is a welcoming and safe space to have fun!!

This class uses a combination of movement, postures and breath to work on strength, flexibility and balance. An all levels class with focus on alignment.
